How We Handle Your Data

Last updated: March 2026

What WeekPulse stores

When you use WeekPulse without an account, all data stays in your browser's local storage. Nothing is sent to our servers. When you sign in, your weekly entries are synced to our database so you can access them across devices.

What we collect

  • Journal entries (wins, challenges, lessons, goals, mood/energy ratings, notes) when synced
  • Email address if you create an account
  • Anonymous usage analytics via Google Analytics (with your consent)
  • Payment data processed by Polar (we do not store card numbers)

What we do not do

  • We do not read your journal entries
  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties
  • We do not use your entries to train AI models
  • We do not link your journal data to ad profiles

Cookies

We use cookies for authentication sessions, ad serving (Google AdSense for free users), and analytics (Google Analytics). You can accept or reject non-essential cookies via the consent banner. Rejecting them disables ads and analytics tracking.

Data export and deletion

You can export all your entries as JSON at any time from the app. To delete your account and all associated data, email [email protected]. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Security

Data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS. Server-side data is stored in Supabase with row-level security and service-role-only access. No public API endpoints expose user data.

Children

WeekPulse is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
